Show your picture avatar gravatar

Are you wondering why when you comment on a blog your picture doesn't show up? The picture that shows on a blog when a commentor leaves a comment is called Avatar.  It's great to have your own avatar showing your face when you leave a comment on someone's blog. Your avatar represents your blog and your brand. In the long run your face will be a valuable assets to tell everyone that you are great blogger, it's also consider as your signature online.  If you observe there are lots of bloggers with the same name and your avatar will tell your different.  Can you now see the important of having your own avatar? So how to show your picture or avatar when you comment on a blog? The answer is Gravatar.

What is a Gravatar?

Gravatar stands for Globally Recognized Avatar. It's a service for providing globally unique avatars that was created by Tom Preston-Werner and in 2007, it has been own by Automatic. 

Using Gravatar your picture will follow you from site to site appearing besides your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars helps identify your post on blogs and web forums. 

How to Setup Your Gravatar? 

For those of you guys who don't know that the gravatar picture is binded in your email address that you use,  without the email address that you registered on gravatar,  it won't show your profile picture. 

The Gravatar profile picture only show on a WordPress platform, that I can say I am sure. Who's know it can be use on other platforms too! But in blogger I guest it's not going to work.
